About us
Stoppil is a french designer and manufacturer of dosing machines. It was created by Mr Yves Luce which idea was to offer to the bakeries a device to dose the water into the kneaders. Released for the first time in 1955 the first mechanic water meter was an immediate success.
20 years later, the company has developed its activity in the industry, using its savoir-faire to design filling machines for production lines. Today both activities stand together and Stoppil's aim is to satisfy each of its clients, bakeries or industrials.
For more than 50 years, our dosing machines have been manufactured in our workshop in France. In order it remains the same, the son of the founder Mr Luce chose to sell the company to two employees when he retired. Thus the savoir-faire is perpetuated and we are proud to promote the french industry around the world.

Our history
1947
Stoppil was originally a metal free cutting firm.
1955
The inventiveness of Stoppil's founder leads him to create and produce a machine to meter water in the baker's kneaders. It is a quick success.
1958
Stoppil develops a range of flow meters dedicated to liquids with different viscosities, aggressiveness, temperatures, etc. The Stoppil flow meter range was born !
1973
In order to sell this new range of machines to the industry, Yves LUCE and his son create in Montreuil (France-93) the STOPPIL INDUSTRIE company.
1978
Stoppil opens its first workshop in Torcy (France-77) near Paris.
1988
Stoppil moves to a new and bigger building in Chanteloup en Brie (France-77).
1998
Stoppil sells its first water chillers for a complete offer to bakeries.
2002
Three ranges of machines are created. They are adapted to food, chemicals, pharmacy and cosmetics.
2010
Stoppil develops the electronic water meter S2200 equipped with an electromagnetic flowmeter counting system. This divice is the first of its kind and it has no equivalent.
2011
Christian Luce sells the company to two of his employees : Stéphane Chiry and Jean Domingues.
2014
Development of the range S3000, S4000 and S5000.
2021
Stoppil moves to new and spacious facilities. A new page of our history has begun !
